Project Fire Ltd are a longstanding client of CK Systems Ltd — we began delivering accounting software support to them over ten years ago. Project Fire were using Pegasus Opera – and still are to this day.
There was an opportunity to provide more reliable and stronger Pegasus Opera support for Project Fire. With our dedicated team, we were keen to offer faster response times and use our accounting expertise to tailor the software to Project Fire’s own processes. This was proven when we soon received positive feedback about the quality and speed of our service.
Solution
As with any new client, we took the time to get to know Project Fire’s team and understand its preferred ways of working. Based on our conversations, we recommended hands-on support and put in place a fixed monthly agreement, giving the client the level of service they valued but with a set cost that they could easily budget for and manage with cashflow.
We also discovered that the Project Fire team were very happy with using Pegasus Opera 3 but were experiencing friction with bottlenecks on some regular accounting tasks. We recommended simplifications to a number of processes, such as how they reported on management accounts, the payroll year-end procedures and applying Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT processing.
As part of our support service we regularly hold on-site client review meetings (typically once or twice a year) to review current processes and address any issues.
With our specialist knowledge of over 20 modules available on Pegasus Opera 3, we keep Project Fire updated on new developments from Pegasus Software Ltd and our own service and products at CK Systems.
This collaborative approach helps our two companies to understand each other and develop together.
Result
Over the past ten-plus years, we have built a strong long-term partnership with Project Fire. As well as delivering a reliable and responsive support service (something we try to achieve with all of our support clients), we have been with the business as it went through significant changes, as Project Fire today is a very different business to the one it was a decade ago.
Drawing on our accounting expertise, we have helped the finance team adapt seamlessly to evolving circumstances.
